Maximus Care Citronella Shampoo is a horse shampoo made with citronella oil and a blend of lavender, eucalyptus, pine and tea tree oils. It cleans the coat, mane and tail and leaves a fresh citrus scent that carries after the bath.
The formula is mild, at a pH of 6.9, and includes aloe vera extract and lanolin to condition the skin and coat. It rinses clean with plain water.
Citronella Shampoo contains no raw materials listed in the FEI Prohibited Substances Database and is made in accordance with USEF regulations.
Directions
Use for a regular bath after riding, training or turnout.
- Wet the horse's coat completely.
- Mix 1 oz of shampoo into 3 gallons of warm water and apply with a sponge.
- Work the lather into the coat, mane and tail. Leave it on for 20 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and remove excess water.
Precautions
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with water for 15 minutes. Keep out of reach of children.
